25 Weeks
Hello....25 week bump up there!
- Hips are hurting like crazy by night time, my body didn't get the memo that we aren't actually birthing this babe the traditional way and they could stay put if they wish.
- Craving: bagels and plain cream cheese, iced coffee (my treat to myself is stopping at Starbucks one morning a week for an iced hazlenut latte and a blueberry muffin), candy, and nacho cheese
- Feeling tons of movement these days I love this part, the flutters have become stronger but they aren't quite to the last few weeks where I flinch and brace myself for the impact. Just fun dance parties going on.
- Nursery progress: room painted, dresser purchased primed and color picked out, put the ax on the alphabet wall going for something more simple for this crafty-impared mamma (i'm not real good as much as I want to be)
That's about it, loving pregnancy and this sweet little babe that is ALL mine right now :) selfish I know but I love the feeling of having this baby all to myself for a bit. Love that the 2nd time around I'm not so anxious for the arrival, I'm just enjoying it and chasing my toddler around while I'm at it.

Memory Lane Time Again
Can't believe this was almost a year ago and that this Sunday we will celebrate our kiddo's 2nd birthday with a party at Mamaw and Papaw's house. Been easily weeepy lately I'm sure this can explain most of that, as well as the crazy hormones raging through my body because of a little squirmy babe waiting to join his or her big sister in 3 short months.
We love you Lydia Rose, we are ready to spoil you rotten again as you celebrate 2 years of life as our precious daughter.

... 2 Weeks ...
In two very short weeks I will be the mother to a two year old. How does this happen?!?! Matt and I were looking at the pictures we have hanging on our bedroom wall last night as we were watching tv before bed and we couldn't help but be in awe at this sweet girl and what she has accomplished in her short two years and how much she has grown and changed.
This mamma is going to be one emotional roller coaster over the next few weeks. The pregnancy hormones aren't going to help matters any.

Somebody that I used to know...
L.O.V.E
Apparently I live under a rock or I just listen to KLOVE and Pandora that I haven't heard this song yet but I love "Blain" so of course I'm hooked.

Good Friday
Good Friday seems to be an emotional day for me. I have a hard time wrapping my brain around the fact that Jesus thinks I am worth experiencing a horrific death for, that all of us along with our sinful and selfish natures were worth dying for.
During the reading of the Passion on Palm Sunday, I always have a hard time when they say "he took his last breath" and then we kneel. I fight tears because I don't want to be that blubbering person but it always takes my breath away. He knew the plan all along but it still had to be a sad/horrific/lonely experience to be up on that cross waiting for his last breath.
I am thankful however that our God is surely ALIVE that he made this sacrafice for us, how humbled I am today to remember this.
There always seems to be a song during Lent that really hits home for me, one that speaks to me and makes me reflect on this season and this year that song is "Alive" by Natalie Grant on The Story cd.

Lydia's 2 Year Photo Shoot Inspiration
I just booked our 2 year photo shoot for Lydia at the end of this month and it just so happens that my good mamma friend Laura released her new Lollipop Collection for Lillypie today. It is everything that I have had going on on my head for Lydia's shoot, Bright colors, lollipops and balloons. OH MY!
Please check her little shop out and feel free to splurge on the bright goodness that she has created this Spring, seriously this girls amazes me. I wish I could bottle up just an oz of her creativity and carry it around with me.
Here is a sneak peak.
