So if you check out my survey from earlier this week I said the baby is over 6lbs but feels more like 10 sometimes well at my appointment yesterday, she was measuring my belly and noticed I was measuring almost 2 weeks early (only had that one other visit and she always seemed to even herself out) well she went ahead and ordered an ultrasound so we could make sure I didn't have a monster in there.
Turns out I have a little chunky chunk in there, she is already measuring over 8lbs. and I am not dialated or making any progress. This made me super nervous for the rest of the night and makes me still super nervous.
So if any of you mamas out there have postive experiences with big babies I would love to hear them! I love me a pudgy cuddling baby but I'm not so sure how I feel about delivering one. VERY NERVOUS and I really don't want a C-section so I'm hoping she moves this process along on her own and that maybe the ultrasound was off by a lb or so.....

When I went in for my 40 week appt my dr estimated Henry to be 8 pounds max...I went into labor that night and he was born the next day at a whopping 9lbs 5oz! He was born vaginally & I had to have a small episiotomy.
If you would have asked me if I thought I could birth a baby that big I would have told you "no freaking way!" but I did and my recovery wasn't bad at all. Of course everyone is going to be sore but it was nothing out of what I would consider normal.
You can do this :)
I didn't have a big baby, but I understand your fears and uncertainties about your delivery especially since it is not turning out to be what you expected. You can do this Allison. I know you'll be great. God's in control and he'll take care of you and baby girl. And if you have to have a c-section (which I hope you don't!) it is not that bad. PROMISE. I freaked out big time, but it was very smooth and easy. I didn't feel a thing and I was up walking around that night after having it at 7:30. I went in at 7:30 and had lilly at 7:36. Quick and painless.
Keep your chin up girl! Everything will work out. I'm thinking about you and shootin up prayers for ya.
Breath in....breath out. :)
