Still here promise...

So it's Friday and I've made it through a WHOLE week at home with my baby and my family without having to hit up the hospital. We did have some drama with home health but nothing a few tears of frustration didn't fix.

Unfortunately I feel like a prisoner in my own home. I am a new mommy and I LOVE IT but I feel like I haven't been able to incorporate her into my every day life yet. We haven't gone out on any outings, ::craving a Target run:: I haven't really started working on a routine for her, and we haven't gone out to visit family and friends. I want to show her off soooo bad! Unfortunately I still have some restrictions but the OB who delivered Lydia said at my appointment yesterday that everything is healing well and my nurse is soo impressed. So I'm hoping that is the light at the end of the tunnel I see! I think that graduation open houses will be our big coming out party and I can't wait to dress her up and take her out!

Here are a few milestones or firsts we have experienced since I've been home:

-As we speak she is napping in her crib! Holy crap she usually won't sleep in anything but her swing, the lamb seat, or someones arms

- She actually projectile spit up on Laura yesterday (she usually just spits a little but nothing major)

- She got her first bath

- She actually followed my face with her eyes the other day, it takes her a while to focus and realize that I kind of moved out of her eye site but she always tries to follow my voice, I love that she knows her mommy's voice

- She pooped up her back for the first time, then kicked her feet in it and got it all over changing pad cover and herself.... yay for mom not having a bad gag reflex... daddy isn't so good at that part

More milestones and stories to come as Lydia and I start our journey together, hopefully this midline will be out of my arm on Wednesday and I can start feeling like a normal person of society and not a hermit!!

Enjoy your weekends all.... here are a couple pics of Lydia to leave you with :) Ahhh I could eat her up she's so cute!
