Wishful Wednesday: My Dream Job!

'I wish' .... I had the opportunity to change careers and it would be to become a boarding kennel owner!

If I had the opportunity to change my career I would definitely become a kennel owner. I believe I have mentioned this before for those of you who have been following me for a little while now. I worked at a kennel growing up, I started volunteering when I was 13 and started working the day I turned 14 and I continued working there through the summer before my junior year of college (20 years old), that is a long stinkin time to work someplace. However, it was the best job in the world ::hints the reason I stayed so long::. I love love love anything with four legs and fur. Plus I got to go to work in basically my pj's because well it's not the most glamorous job in the world and the owners are great family friends and basically my 2nd family all through high school.

I want to be able to help people feel at ease when they leave for vacation, pets are a big part of today's families and you worry about them while they are gone and I want to provide an atmosphere where they can feel completely comfortable leaving their furry four legged members of the family. I want to live on the property so I can be there in a second if something is wrong, I want to be able to make a pot of coffee and walk down to the kennel to work for the day. I want to be home when my kids come home from school and I want a lot of land so in the middle of shifts I can go play with my own animals (horses, goats, dogs, etc. )

This is my dream life!! Maybe one day :)

Oh I am having a geat time today with these answers! I would love that too since I love doggies! And I think it is a rewarding job. Pet parents love groomers. :)

I think that is sooo cute. And you are right..we lovvvve the kennel we take our doggies to. The owner is also a very wonderful lady and loves Jesus. She blesses our day just in her greetings each morning. I hope that God makes your dream a reality some day!! :)
