3 Months

Wow baby girl you are 3 months old today?!?!?! How exactly is it that time flies when you want it to slow down so you can enjoy every millisecond of it? Well it has flown by and this month has been a big one. Loooots of changes, transitions and growth for both us.

I feel like you have suddenly blossomed into this happy go lucky baby in this past month (ok so there might have a been a week or so where we averaged at least one good hour long meltdown a day) but for the most part you are so happy these days. Nothing makes me happier then coming in to pick you up out of your crib and you giving me that huge, gummy, squinty eyed, dimpled grin I swear it makes my whole life and I have never seen anything more beautiful.

I love that you know your mommy and I love that sometimes I am the only one who can calm you down but I also love that you will go to anyone and tell them all about your day with your gurgly, spitty, baby babble. You make everyones day and make them feel so loved.

You sit up now with assistance but it's your favorite position, laying on your back? heck no you try and work those ab muscles baby and sit yourself up as hard as you can until mom is done laughing at you and helps pull you up so you can see the world around you. You love your bumbo because you can sit up all on your own, your expression when you learned exactly what was going on was so wonderful, you were so proud and excited!

You are now eating cereal a few times a week, ok so it's more like practice for big baby food time because right now you spit out more than you ingest but that's ok, it makes for lots of fun and laughter for both of us.

Your legs are oh so strong and you love to show people how you stand and wobble around with their help, you like it when music comes on to and we help you dance from your little wobbly standing self.
You have rolled over with the help of your tummy mat now and you don't do it everytime but everytime it happens you get these huge confused eyes and look at me like what just happened to you but we let you keep doing it so soon you can do it like a big girl from your tummy with no help from your mat.

Mommy went back to work, which meant lots of tears from me but lots of treasured snuggle time because I wouldn't put you down for bed because I just wanted to soak up every minute of mommy and Lydia time, it is so much more precious now that I am away from you for the day. You are a trooper with this whole being juggled around from person to person and place to place. You will be very well rounded and a social butterfly just like your mom.

We are now moving you into 3-6 month sleeper and onesies, thank goodness some of your cute 0-3 month outfits still fit because I don't want to put them away yet because they are so cute and then that would mean you really are moving on into the next stage of babyhood.

You are more than I could have ever imagined in a daughter and I never knew I was capable of loving someone so much but I just love you more and more everyday! Happy 3 months to my beautiful baby girl!!!

love,

Mommy

Precious!
Love her onesie and her babylegs.
Babylegs make my list of top ten cutest baby things! Where did you get her onesie or onesie decal from?
