I became that mom today

I became that mom who drove an extra 45 minutes around the near vicinity of my house because my poor Lydia bug was a crying, screaming, red face, hold my breath I'm screaming so hard, adorable baby today after leaving my parents.

I think she might be going through a growth spurt because her 4 1/2 oz bottles were not cutting it for longer than an hour and a half today and I had to get her stretched a little bit closer to her normal 3 hrs. for our BIG 25th Birthday bash tonight plus she would have spit that stuff up before I even got a bib on her, she doesnt' realize how small her tummy is.

So.... we drove and drove some more. We cried and we cried some more (mommy joined in on this activity once safe inside my own car) Finally she settled down and still had about 40 min until she hit 3 hours so i kept going while she rested her vocal cords in cute baby dreamland.

I had heard of this working for parents and grandparents to get their little ones to sleep but had never had to do it until now. It was a good time to listen to K Love and pray for my baby and pray that I am being a good mom to her, I felt like an awful one today. And to also pray for the strength to go back to work in only one week because I know my family needs me to.

So that is my story for today and now she has successfully made it to her 3 hours, she got 5 oz this time and is chillin like the cute happy baby she normally is in her lamb seat watching the Cubbies with her dad. Ahhhh


Now to get cute and ready to go out on the town to celebrate the big 25 with my family and friends. FUN FUN weekend ahead with birthday celebrating and my little Lydia's baptism on Sunday :) Have a great weekend everyone!
