Friday night we went out for my 25th Birthday. My family went out to eat with us at Scotty's downtown so Lydia could join and then the rest of us went out to the Rathskeller to hang out in the Biergarten and listen to some live music! It was a wonderful evening and I love all my family and friends who came out to celebrate with me.
Saturday we pretty much stayed on the DL went to the pool and hung out for a while but came home and Lydia and I were in bed by 8:30 to get ready for her big day the next day!
Sunday was Lydia's baptism and I was so impressed with all my Aunt's and Uncle's and cousins who came to join us on this beautiful day. We love our church and we love our priest. He makes you feel so loved, he actually married us 2 years ago and was now able to baptize our first little girl and I hope he is around for the rest of the crew we will bring into this world. My brother and sister are the godparents and I know they will be such great role models and (spoilers) of our beautiful Lydia. I hope this is just the beginning in bringing Lydia up in a home that can truly show her the way of Christian life and show her how much God loves her each and every day! My parents then opened up their home for everyone to come for lunch and cake once the baptism was over. I love my family and Lydia is so lucky to have so many people that will love her and support her all of her life!
