Hello mom friends! I need a little help and advice.
My sweet Lydia is turning 1 next week, holy moly I almost have a toddler! Anyway, we are going to start transitioning her off formula and on to milk and off the bottle. :(
Also, I have heard so many different opionions etc. on whether to put her on organic milk or not due to hormones. What did you do, moms of girls???
Any tips/Advice and words of wisdom from the veteran mammas of the group is much appreciated!

we do organic eggs and milk only. :) That's what she seems to have the most of. Also--DEAN'S milk is 100% hormone free. We buy that a lot.
We do organic milk for Megan, but that's it. She drinks a lot of milk, so I thought organic would be the best option due to what I've heard about the hormones in milk. And transitioning from formula to milk was really easy for us. Megan was never attached to anything, so going from a bottle to a sippy was easy too. Our only problem was it caused Megan some major constipation issues. I have heard people say that when they started transitioning they did half formula and half milk for a while. Good luck!
Makenzie gets organic milk as well. My sis-in-law's pediatrician told her she is seeing girls start their periods younger and younger all the time because of the extra hormones in meat and dairy. Also, it wasn't a big deal to transition from formula to milk (but i do have to warm it up a bit) but M did have some major constipation issues after the switch! not fun and very sad! after a couple weeks everything was fine and she was back to normal though. I just made sure she was getting lots of water and sometimes did half and half.
