My Sweet Abby Girl

If you know me, you know my dogs are a big part of my life, they are a part of my family. My pup from home growing up was Abby, a sweet, crazy, pain in the butt, smart, loving Border Collie. I remember going to my Uncle's house to pick her up, she was just a pup (she had been handed over to him by her owners to find a home along with a few other of her brothers, she was the only girl left)

She instantly became a member of our family, she chewed up anything metal she could get her paws on, she liked to take mom's underwear that was folded on the dryer out to the front yard, the riding lawnmower was her best friend (she slept on the seat and used her border collie instincts to heard it) she loved to play pool basketball with us, she hated storms, she loved cheese and would beg my dad for a piece while he was grilling, she hated the water but fell in the pool on a couple occassions, and we loved her so much!

Over the weekend while all of us were at Purdue celebrating Grand Prix, she had a stroke and never quite came out of it, my dad had to take her to the vet where she was put down.

Abby Girl you will be missed!
