Lydia Update at 15 Months

I can't believe that our little Lydia is going to be 15 months on Wednesday. Seriously how does this happen? How is it that time flies by when you become a mother?? Everyone tells you this over and over while you are pregnant, "just you wait" ok I GET IT!

Since I don't do the monthly post anymore I thought I would fill ya in on where our little girl is at right now, all the good, bad, ugly and fantastically cute!

The girl is a talker, I love when she just starts holding conversations with people and cutest thing of all is she talks with her hands while holding said conversation in baby talk. Makes me laugh and just nod my head saying things like "no way", "what happened next", and "you crazy girl!"

Words she can say:
Baby, Izzy, Matt, Truck, Hot, B (as in Bentley), bye-bye, hi, hello, mama, dada, no (she doesn't know what it means yet), nana (banana), mamaw (gma), papaw (gpa), bottle or baba, and cheese.

She says goodbye to the bath water as it goes down the drain, she says goodbye to her diapers when I take them out from under her to throw in the diaper genie, she says hi to people on the street or in church or in the grocery or ANYWHERE we go, people think she is so friendly! when we yell for izzy to come back to us (my sisters puppy) she starts yelling izzy with us. She says cheese when you get out the camer and hello when she puts your phone up to ear.

She gives kisses goodbye now...oh how I love me some slobbering Lydia kisses. She usually follows this with bye and waving because it usually means we are go somewhere or someone is leaving.

She brushes her teeth now and actually asks for her tooth brush when she gets in the bath tub (she says teeth, sounds like cheese, over and over again until I get out her tooth brush) She still loves bath time and will head into the bathroom when you say it's bath time.

She is a MASTER swimmer, ok maybe I'm exagerating but she thinks she is really good at it, therefore she has no fear which means mom is having a lot of fear of her falling in the pool. My mom was able to find a water vest that actually fits her though so we aren't as afraid now. BUT she will put her face in and everything, this girl loves the pool!

She loves dancing and will provide entertainment at all wedding receptions, family gatherings, and private dance parties in our living room or kitchen.

Foods she is eating:
She is still super picky but she will eat: peanut butter and jelly, mac & cheese, ravioli, nutri grain bars, toast with jelly, "chicky" nuggets, nanas, yogurt, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, french fries, pretzels, and mexican cheese (she love queso of all kinds)  see a trend, NO COLOR

Favorite shows:
Fresh Beat Band, Sesame Street (mo, mo of course "Elmo") Wonder Pets

Teething:
Teething is a MONSTER, it causes nasty diapers, runny noses, grumpy babies and grumpy mammas. She has her first molar completely in and another one is on its way. She also has an incisor coming in on the bottom too. I believe this brings our grand total to 11 teeth.

Sleeping:
IS FANTASTIC...she still sleeps a good 12 hours at night and usually takes one short morning nap and one longer afternoon nap. Especially in this heat, it wears her out.

I believe that is it in a nutshell. We are cruising through milestones and the "I told you this would happen" moments (pooping in the tub etc.)

We love over BIG girl!!
